So…if you’re seeing this, I guess it means, I’m…. well, dead. Hope it was impressive! Not crossing the road or an incident with a toaster. I just wanted to say… it’s ok. It really is. Jack, you saved me. You showed me all the wonders of the universe and… all those possibilities. And I wouldn’t have missed it for the world.

Lifescouts: Sydney Opera House Badge

I live in a place called Wollongong, it’s about 40 minutes from Sydney. Growing up we went to Sydney a lot, to the zoo, on ferry rides, eating gelato. When I was 15 my mum took me and my sister to see Othello at the Sydney Opera House. Most people don’t realise but there is a theatre under that actual opera house. It’s kinda small, but really wonderful. I fell a little bit more in love with Shakespeare there. Othello was played by an Indigenous Australian and Iago was fantastically evil, Desdemona was astoundingly angelic. After the performance my mum took us for gelato. Whilst I was waiting to order the cast came up and waited in line. We talked to them and got a couple of photos. I remember Iago stealing some of my chocolate gelato, but letting me have some of his mango sorbet.
